Dr Amitabh Naik, MBBS, FRCP, graduated in 1994. He undertook training in General Medicine, followed by further training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology. He has undergone specialist training in ERCP in France & EUS in Italy.
Dr Naik has been working in the department of Gastroenterology & Endoscopy at Ashford & St Peter’s NHS trust since 2006.
He specialises in endoscopy of GI tract, various aspects of clinical gastroenterology & hepatology. He has special interest in hepato-biliary disease & endoscopy.
He is a co-chair of Upper GI and HPB Cancer in the Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance and member of the EASL (European Association for the Study of the Liver), besides having been a member of the UEGF (United European Gastroenterology Federation).
